Established in 1979, Tibbatts & Co Ltd (formerly Tibbatts & Sons) is small general surveying practice based in the centre of Wimbledon.

Mike Tibbatts qualified as a surveyor in 1971 and has worked for several small and medium sized firms of surveyors in the course of his career. He completed the majority of his academic studies while working for Churchman and Duke - Chartered Surveyors in Crawley Sussex in the late 1960's. Mike worked for the Freshwater Group of Companies from 1971 to 1978 before moving abroad to work first in Iran and then in Hong Kong. Mike returned to the UK in 2000.

Mike is a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), the regulatory body representing all chartered surveyors setting standards and ensuring professionalism throughout the industry.

He is also a member of ALEP (Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners) an association ensuring highest levels of service and integrity in the area of lease extensions and leasehold enfranchisement (purchase of freehold). He is a listed valuer with Lease-Advice and is a member of Pyramus & Thisbe, which is the organisation for professionals specialising in party wall matters.

Mike specialises Surveys and Property Valuations, Lease Extensions and Leasehold Enfranchisement and Party Wall Awards.
